Gary Schineller

Gary Schineller founded Hello, From My Heart Days in 2002 in order to promote Peace and eliminate violent crime. The simple invitation from September 11th - 21st, coinciding with the International Day of Peace, is to greet everyone we meet with a smile and the words "Hello, From My Heart."

This allows us all to participate in a way that can and has changed the world wherever practiced. We would all like to live in a happier, healthier, more peaceful communities. If we seek change, we must become the change we seek. "Hello, From My Heart" greetings are simply a way to be that change. This is the only statistically measured successful peace effort to show a drop in crime as well as lower rates of absenteeism.

Mr. Schineller , now 60, gave up a lucrative career as a network executive and consultant to pursue his dream of changing the world in a peaceful and measurably effective manner.

His work has been largely self funded and he ministers to many who are indigent or in other ways distressed. He recently traveled to Norfolk, VA from Florida and back in one day to work with a woman who was dying. He has taken in homeless people and provided counsel and motivation to many groups and individuals who were unable to pay for his services.

HFMH addresses the concept that we must become the change we seek and as we seek peace in our lives we pass it on to others locally, nationally and globally. Gary’s work and his website, www.HelloFromMyHeart.com as tracked by www.Alexa.com have reached over 22 million people in 115 countries. In addition he established the First Annual Peace & Love Celebration in 2008, as a tribute to Woodstock at which he was in attendance. He is also the author of a wonderful book, How to: Have A Nice Day.

He graduated from SUNY at Buffalo (UB) with a degree in Social Psychology. His career in broadcast television also began in Buffalo at WUTV and then WBEN before he moved to Chicago to join ABC-TV. He was promoted to Detroit and then to NYC where he was named the Eastern Sales Manager for the ABC-TV Owned and Operated Stations. Since then he has produced and directed a number of network television shows and consulted for various companies and networks. While he has received numerous awards, the one he says he is most proud of is being named the N.Y.S. Volunteer of the Year by the American Heart Association.
