I'm an executive coach specializing in leadership development and also an entrepreneur of many years. My company is The Marteney Group (http://www.themarteneygroup.com), and I write a blog on leadership topics. I help people move their visions into action, navigate the difficult conversations in life (including asking for business, giving feedback, managing conflict, etc.), and enhance their leadership presence. Many clients have trouble marketing their ideas, so I have brought my background in marketing and branding from years in the fast-moving high tech industry into my coaching work. I facilitate workshops on personal branding and crafting the brand promise and value propositions for new businesses and initiatives. I am certified in two coaching traditions: integral coaching through New Ventures West (http://www.newventureswest.com) and somatic coaching through the Strozzi Institute (http://www.strozziinstitute.com), both in California. I study the Enneagram (a path to psychological and spiritual growth) and the 4th Way (a wisdom tradition). I also have a family business, Our Health Co-op (http://www.ourhealthcoop.com), which offers scientifically-promising nutritional supplements (complementary medicine) to people who care about quality but have to watch their budgets. I write a blog on science, nutrition, and health. Where my two lines of work intersect is in the coaching of integrative medicine practitioners and bringing educational offerings to far-flung communities. I live in Park City for now (my husband has been a big skiier), enjoy the gorgeous vistas and sane pace out here, but miss the diversity of the city. I'm starting to commute back and forth to San Francisco a couple of times a month to be with my coaching community and also with clients in the Bay area. Boston and Seattle are other favorite cities!
